So proud

June is in full swing. We started this week off with The Kid's D.A.R.E graduation. I am so very proud of her because she was picked out of her class to read her essay about what she has learned this year with Officer Dickson.

I promised her I would not cry. I did my best but as all these end of year activities happen it is becoming much harder. As of June 21, I will no longer have an elementary student.  Who knew that the thought of this would make me so emotional.

How I wish I could freeze time...

Lets turn the music up

Memorial Day Weekend was fun. Attended the East Durham Irish Festival as I have for the last few years with one of my great friends Liz. It was a great time filled with beautiful weather and the bonus of seeing one of my favorite bands play. This band is GREAT!!

(not from this Memorial Day but still great)

Was super happy for the short work week. Then the car decided to die :( My track record with vehicles as of late not great. I need this to be fixed without depleting my small amount of savings.
The month of June is far too busy for me to figure out how I am gonna get myself and the Kid to all of our events and the regular things as well. So my fingers are crossed as many times as humanly possible right now for that phone call with some good news.

I have tons I could whine about but why do that. I'm gonna turn up the music and dance around the place while cleaning in between. No feeling sorry for myself today.

Enjoy your Saturday everyone!
